Osmetech announces 4 year Distribution Agreement for the Osmetech OPTI line of blood gas analyzers with Sysmex in Japan.

Osmetech has entered into an exclusive distribution contract with Sysmex to supply the Osmetech OPTI blood gas analyzer over the next four years. Sysmex, the number one healthcare diagnostics company in Asia, based on the positive experience with this product line has selected to continue promoting the OPTI as its sole product line for the blood gas market. OPTI is particularly suited to the expanding point of care market in Japan.

Alfred Marek, President of Osmetech Critical Care Division, said:
