The World's First Point-Of-Care CO-Oximeter The AVOXimeter 4000 provides a fast, accurate assessment of patient oxygenation at the bedside. The AVOXimeter’s patented state-of-the-art optics yield accurate measurements of oxy-, carboxy-, and met-hemoglobin as well as total hemoglobin. When used in combination with a blood gas analyzer, the AVOXimeter 4000 gives a comprehensive and complete assessment of the patient’s oxygenation status.
The AVOXimeter 4000 is a portable, battery-powered system designed to meet the accuracy demands of today’s lab managers yet is easy enough for point-of-care, bedside testing. The AVOXimeter 4000 requires no sample preparation, needs only 50 μl of blood, and utilizes inexpensive disposable cuvettes.
Results are obtained in less than 10 seconds. Comprehensive data management, quality control, and readily available proficiency-testing materials make regulatory compliance quick and easy.
