What is OQM?

  • OQM is an arrangement of software and sensors that collectively monitors the overall status of the instrument.

What does OQM do?

  • Monitors the result of each calibration verification
    • A calibration is performed if drift values exceed acceptable limits.
  • Performs calibration and QC measurements to verify performance
  • Initiates Corrective actions to correct any performance related issues.
  • Disables any sensor that exhibits unexpected behavior
  • Alerts users if any error occurs that will prevent operation

What is Calibration verification?

  • Occurs every 30 minutes using the calibration solution stored in the cassette
  • takes 30 seconds.

Does the OPTI R perform post measurement calibration verification?

  • Occurs after each patient sample
  • cassette is washed and filled with fresh calibration solution. 
  • takes 90 seconds.

How often does the OPTI R perform a Master Calibration?

  • Occurs every 6 hours using the calibration solution and the gas bottle. 
  • takes 2 minutes to complete.

Does the OPTI R perform Auto-QC?

  • The OPTI R contains 3 different levels of liquid QC material for use in quality control and quality monitoring.
  • Auto-QC can be programmed to run on a custom schedule based on the needs of the customer.

Does the OPTI R need daily or weekly maintenance?

  • The OPTI R is designed for ease-of-use and maximum uptime. This analyzer is virtually maintenance-free.
